Cassie Graves becomes an example.
I’ve been signing on at the job centre since November, simply because I ran out of money, couldn’t land a job, and mother lost financial patience with me.
However, my advisor (who is one of the loveliest people I’ve ever met, by the way) knows a little about Gramowave, and the other projects I set up and work on.
Yesterday we spoke some more and she said she’d actually love me to speak to the youth she works with and, to quote her
I wish more young people were like you, all they want to do is sit around, make their £53 a week and do nothing with their time.
And it struck me. I’ve changed so much since August, and it was such an honour to basically be told I’m an example to young people. It’s kind of a shock because I’ve been called a bad influence my entire life, and now I’m finally turning it around and it feels wonderful.
In other news, I think my mother’s finally accepted that this is what I’m going to do, and that art is my passion. I reminded her of when I came to her with the idea for Gramowave, when I was thirteen. She remembered.
My point is, this was never a snap decisiaon. The snap decision was doing it now, because this is the time when the world NEEDS Gramowave.
Stay tuned, guys <3
